The Wood Rack is a full service supplier of furniture grade specialty lumber and plywood. We have over 30 years of experience supplying specialty lumber as well as custom furniture production. We have the expertise you are looking for when suggestions and recommendations are needed for your project. We are always happy to assist you!
We have recently expanded our products and services offering to include custom piecework. We specialize in the production of custom pieces produced to your specifications. All our lumber is kiln dried to within the standard 6 to 8% moisture content. A must for precise woodworking!
Our goal is to provide the finest quality wood and wood products at very competitive prices to all our customers.
Our shop is located on the Connecticut shoreline in Branford, 10 minutes from New Haven.

The Wood Rack has been in business for almost 20 years and has been proudly serving the CT shoreline area with a wide variety of wood, lumber and plywoods for professionals and hobbyist. Carl Johnson started the Wood Rack in 2004 and his legacy carries on through new ownership.
